Why does my car need to be serviced?

Regular servicing will help to keep your vehicle running safely and efficiently, which will probably save you money over the life of your car.  Our highly trained mechanics check over 50 components of your vehicle and can nip in the bud anything that might otherwise become a major and potentially costly issue.  Having a full service history available should also ensure your vehicle maintains its market value if you come to sell it.

When should my car be serviced?

A full service should be carried out every 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever is soonest.  An interim service can be carried out every 6,000 miles or 6 months, if you feel it is necessary. Unlike an MOT, a service is not a legal requirement but your vehicle will run more smoothly and efficiently with good maintenance.

Which service should I choose?

Osborne Motors offers a full service or an interim service, as well as air conditioning regas or purification services, and for diesel engines we offer a DPF cleaning service.  We can also carry out maintenance work such as replacing the oil and filters – please speak to our experienced and helpful staff who can advise you and help you choose the best option for your vehicle.
